Eaglecrest's Community Programs
Eaglecrest is proud to host a variety of Community Programs on the Mountain.
Our goal is to spread the wonder of skiing and snowboarding by introducing new riders to the sport with our community-based programs. Look below for more information on each community outreach program, please email Eaglecrest@SkiJuneau.com for more informaton. Eaglecrest also accepts donations requests from community members whose need aligns with Eaglecrest goals and ideals. Please email Eaglecrest@SkiJuneau.com for more information.
This program is funded in part by the Eaglecrest
Foundation and provides Juneau middle school students the opportunity to
enjoy winter sports at Eaglecrest at no cost. Students for the program are
chosen by teachers and staff based on their economic and social need, grades,
and attendance. Students chosen are expected to keep good grades, good
attendance and low behavioral issues in school. In return they are provided
free lift tickets, ski/snowboard rentals, bus transportation and access to
clothing including jackets, pants, gloves, and helmets.
