02-07-2016 10:57:43:It’s Super Bowl Sunday and we’re predicting a big win for Eaglecrest. The snowline is well below the Eaglecrest base. We got 3 more inches of new snow overnight, putting us at 21 inches since opening Thursday morning! Temp at the top is 26 degrees with SE winds around 15 knots.

Off trail skiing doesn’t get much better: lots of snow, lots of untracked powder, lots of refills. The forecast looks like more of the same ahead as long as the temps stay cold we will continue to get snow. Be careful off the groomed runs, low snow conditions exist, especially towards the lower mountain. Marked and unmarked obstacles do exist.

For today – Mountain Lift has added another location for weekend service and will be up in the Eagle's Nest. All chairlifts are running. Lifts start at 9am. Hooter and Porcupine will close at 4pm. Ptarmigan and Black Bear at 3:30. Bowls access ends at least 30 minutes before last chair. Cross country skiing is groomed for both skating and classic styles on the upper Nordic loop, access via the Trickster trail.

The whole month of February our Retail and Repair Shops will have great deals: $10 off full tunes, $5 off edge/wax combos, and T-Shirts for just $13!
